Best known for her debut single "Pop The Glock", this rapper is slowly making her way in to the game with other hits like "Dismissed", "First Love" and "Ready To Uff". She burst on to the scene when she appeared in all 3 volumes of the "Ed Rec" CDs. "Pop The Glock" was a huge success in the electronica and rap genres. It was then followed by the minor hit "Dismissed". Hopefully, her album will be as good as the singles.

I will be opening a new blog about the singer Robyn. I don't think there is one yet, but tell me if there is. Konichiwa records begin their legacy!

Robyn has started her new record label, Konichiwa records and released an album under said label. I am planning to pick up this album since I am currently in Pittsburgh. My other choice would be the webkinz toco-toucan. I've wanted "Robyn" ever since I heard the new single "Handle Me", where she purrs "Your a selfish, narsisistic, psycho-freakin, boot-lickin' n*zi creep". That cracked me up! Another equally entertaining song on the album is the beaming "Konichiwa B*tches".

Today is rapper Lil' Kim's birthday! In order to be polite, I won't say her new age. You will have to use Wikipedia. I'm not a big time fan, but I do own her latest album "The Naked Truth".

Renovation.

Hear me out! I recently realized that on June 12, I received a comment telling me that "nobody cares about this blog", and that "missywatch.blogspot is the real thing". Every since that, there has been a dramatic decrease of visitors. Since I can't compete with Missywatch, I am turning this into a music blog. Not missy in specific, just music in general. The name of the blog will change, the look will change, the posts will change. You will still be able to view the old posts about missy, but I won't be doing all posts about her anymore. Over the next few days I will be renovating the blog. Hopefully, my gracious visitors will return.

Cottage dreams.

In about 3-2 weeks, I am going with my family on our yearly trip to Halifax, Nova Scotia! We will be staying in a lovely cottage by a sunny lake. It has a dock that you can sun-tan on! While I'm there I will be exploring Halifax and visiting relatives. For the week 1 that I'm there, I will visit my cousins and do some shopping! I am working to save money right now so I can add a new friend to my family of webkinz. My uncle and aunt are going to buy me an early B-day gift, and I am going with Fantasia Barrino's self-titled sophomore. On week 1 I am also going to visit my friend John in Dartmouth. On week 2 I am leaving the cottage to stay in a hotel at New Glasscow. I am going to visit my Grandparents. After 2 days of that, I am visiting my aunt on the way home. I am going to buy the new webkinz toco toucan while I am there. My sister is planning to do the same. Then I return home by the end of week 2. I can use my Blogger account at my cottage and my aunt's house, so I will be chronicling my entire trip right here.
I will be using my new Nintendo DS Lite on the long drives.

I have finally received news from Missy's website, that her new album is currently under the working title of "Block Party" and will be released on September 9th. To keep us waiting patiently, her anticipated new single "Best, Best" has been released! You can hear at her website, and then hear it here (Once I get it).

Danity, or Destiny?

The other day, I picked up both of Danity Kane's CDs, ''Danity Kane" and "Welcome To The Dollhouse". After enjoying them, I listened to the Destiny's Child CD "Survivor" that my sister got last summer. Danity Kane and Destiny's Child are both blooming supertsar diva groups, but which do you prefer? I prefer Danity Kane. Didn't Destiny's Child break a few years ago?

what am I meant to belive!?

How many websites must I shuffle through to find the official release date of "FANomenal"? I'm starting to think that this album is not coming. One site tells me it's June 17th. Another site tells me it's late July. Now they're telling me it's August 26th? HONESTLY, Missy ought to make up her mind FAST!

what happens when you don't obey the rules

You might notice that the cbox is gone. That is because SOMEBODY disobeyed the rules and said something on the cbox I will not repeat. Now, due to rules not being followed, the cbox is gone. Whoever the rule disobeyer is, they're lucky they didn't type their credit card number or I would have billed them to moderate their words out. Let this be a lesson. Abuse luxuries, and they go away. recording from jail

After whining...err...begging for forgiveness, Remy Ma has been sentenced to 8 years in prison for attempted murder. She plans to record an album for next year called "PunisHER". Think it's crazy? Both Foxy Brown and Lil Kim recorded entire albums from jail. The only difference is, Foxy recorded hers IN the jail cell. Lil Kim was sentenced to prison and then recorded the last tracks of the album AND shot a video for "Lighters Up" in her last days of freedom, which was around 8-16 days. They aired a show called "Lil Kim's Countdown To Lockdown" that debuted in 2006. Foxy was less successful against Kim, Which proves that Remy's new album will be nothing like her last album "There's Something About Remy: Based On A True Story"!

Oh Timbaland!!! Timbaland's new album "Shock Value" is a rap legend! With radio-party tracks like "Release", the ghetto fashioned "Come & Get Me", the cute "Fantasy" and my favorite, the spicy "Bombay". If you own even two Missy Elliott CDs, you would see that Timbaland has produced many. Though on "The Cookbook", he only produces TWO SONGS! On her new album "FANemenal", he only produces three! Of course, Missy has other great producers on her side (Scott Storch, Danjahandz, The Neptunes), but Timbo will always be the king! Now sit back and watch his latest video "Throw It On Me". It seems that mystudiyo is encountering some service errors. This is a problem because it causes all of my quizzes to glitch. I am so disappointed! Missy has once again moved her album release date, so cancel the party for todays original release date, because we have to wait another month and 12 days! This all-of-a-sudden U.K release date of June 16th has moved the U.S.A release date to June 17th which moves the Canadian release date to June 18th! I think I've told you all that missy's new album drops on May 6th. I just realized that May 6th is next week! Ever since I found this out I've been having dreams about the cover image! HMV says the fan-chosen album name is Phenomenal. Let me know what you think of the album name and tell me if you have any idea what the cover image looks like. Like I said, only one week before we get the seventh addition to my collection!

Missy has once again redone the look of her website too go with her new album! The last look her website had was menu-ish to fit the cookbook's release. For some reason it's all white. Could this have something to do with her new album?

THE WAIT IS OVER!!!

I finally got my CDs delivered! I now own all Missy CDs, my first Lil Kim CD, and my first Shawnna CD! My favorite songs are: From ''Miss.E...So Addictive'', ''Slap, Slap, Slap!'', From ''The Naked Truth'', ''Kitty Box'' and from ''Block Music'', ''Lil Daddy What's Good''.

The whole collection

In my yellow square post I mentioned that ''Miss.E...So Addictive'' was the only missy CD I don't own. Well that's all about to change. Three months ago I was very close to getting it, but the U.S postal service lost it through customs. I got my money back and re-ordered it a couple days ago. It is set to come next week! By then I'll have the whole collection and I'll be ready for her new album to come out! To go with it I also ordered Lil Kim's ''The Naked Truth'' and Shawnna's ''Block Music''. For me, I prefer clean versions. What about you?

missy's new video

This is missy's double video for her new singles ''Ching-a-ling'' and ''Shake your pom-pom''. This is the very first 3-D music video ever! Missy has really made history. Unfortunately, this is the 2-D version. I don't even have 3-D glasses. If you do, go to MTV's official website and look up missy elliott to find the 3-D version. I warn you though, it's not very good quality and it skips.

New album preview!!!

As you all know, missy is going to release her seventh album on May 6 2008, but missy has given us a grand sneak peak way earlier than I expected! The new CD is going to feature new production from point guard, returning production from timbaland, souldiggaz and t.gooch, cameos from t-pain, guests like jazmine sullivan and keyshia cole, and plus, eight tracks were revealed.

Could it be true that missy elliott is so famous that there comparing her to puff daddy? Of course! She's been going on for years. She almost stopped aids with Christina Aguilara in 2003, she helped lil kim get many awards and she even opened up an interview for all her fans to get in touch with her. She is the most amazing female rapper. take that rolling stone! R.I.P puffy.

strange yellow square

Yesterday I was taking a look at my missy elliott CDs when I noticed a strange looking yellow square on the top of the spine on three of the CDs. Those three CDs where ''Under Construction'', ''This Is Not A Test!'' and ''The Cookbook''. It's funny because those where all released in that order. Those squares are not on ''Da Real World'' or ''Supa Dupa Fly''. As for ''Miss.E...so addictive'', I wouldn't know. ''Miss.E...so addictive'' is the only missy CD that I don't own. What do these yellow squares mean? Why are they not on her first three but on her three others?

This is Alexandrea lushinton. She auditioned for American idol, made it to the top twenty four, sang two songs live and then was voted off. Is it just me or does she look like missy elliott? She has quite a voice for seventeen.

On janet jackson's new album ''Discipline'', which is being released tomorrow, there is a track called ''The 1'' which iTunes tells me is a duet with missy elliott. Now, I didn't hear missy in the preview, but i'm pretty sure she's on there. The album's not bad, considering the fact that I'm not a fan of janet. Anyway, tomorrow when the album comes out make sure you log on to iTunes and buy ''The 1'' and contact me if missy is featured.

Unfriendly skies...

Okay, so I just purchased ''Supa Dupa Fly'', her debut album, and started listening to it. At first it was great, had some partytime, enjoyable tracks and a nice interlude, until I reached the track known as ''Friendly Skies (ft.ginuwine)''. Oh, it felt like it went on forever! Slow, boring vocals and no catchy sound to it, However, there is a cool sounding techno voice at the end, but even that goes on forever! Not worth a second listen, but may I suggest ''Izzy Izzy Ahh'' as one of the best on the album!

he ruined the song!

Attention all missy fans! If you have purchased her best-selling album ''Under Construction'', it comes with a saddening bonus track. It's not one you have to go to japan for or anything, it's already there. It is a remix of her 2002 single ''Work It'' that features someone she should never team up with again...50 cent! delivering only one verse and some backing vocals, he totally ruins the whole song! Fans, if you agree with me, let your voices be heard! COMMENT! If you don't agree with me, check out some of the other stuff this place has to offer. Oh, also there is a target bonus track on it called ''Drop Tha Bomb''. It could be related to her bomb intro on ''This Is Not A Test!''


So remember, buy this wonderful album but DO NOT listen to track 14!

this is a song from her debut album ''Supa Dupa Fly'' called ''Why You Hurt Me(clean)''. Probably one of her more personal songs. The point of the song is, if you have a friend in a bad situation, get help! There are numbers to call, people to talk to, get help somehow! If the situation can't be helped, then that's the point when you must say ''I can't be involved with this person''.
